🚢🇪🇺👁️ We are proud to have taken part in Europort Smart Flow: artificial intelligence to optimise border flows, an innovative project developed to optimise loading and unloading processes at the Port of Bilbao.
The solution combines the sensors and cameras installed at the port with an advanced layer of artificial intelligence and video analytics. In our case, we have developed a tool capable of interpreting this information in real time, determining operational flows and optimising passenger and vehicle routes, whilst adapting to the different processes applicable to Schengen and non-Schengen travellers.
One of the key elements of the project is a guidance system using smart screens, dynamically controlled by our artificial intelligence. Based on an analysis of passenger flows and the operational status, the system updates the instructions to guide passengers through the boarding and alighting processes.

The solution also incorporates features that enhance the monitoring of facilities and provide greater protection for travellers and staff responsible for security and border control.
Europort Smart Flow is an invaluable tool for the Port of Bilbao’s operations and provides significant support to the National Police and Frontex, offering greater information, traceability and the ability to anticipate passenger and vehicle movements.
