Renfe has deployed Imotion Analytics’ Aforo Seguro solution in the main stations of Spain as part of its strategy to keep passengers safe in the context of the Covid pandemic.
The solution monitors capacity and footfall in real time at access points, platforms and concourses, providing operators with the data needed to manage flows, prevent overcrowding and ensure a safe experience for travelers.
This is one of the most ambitious deployments of computer vision for capacity control in Spanish rail infrastructure to date.
